I'm a network engineer by training, and today I manage a network engineering team at one of Brazil's largest fintechs. Along the way I learned that resolving a network incident at 3am and leading people under pressure are the same exercise at heart: understand the system, stay calm, act with method.

I started in on-premise networking — cabling, routing, datacenter — and followed infrastructure's natural drift toward the cloud. Today I move between AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP as naturally as I once talked about VLANs and BGP, and I'm increasingly investing in Infrastructure as Code as a way to scale all of it.

This site is a place to record that journey: behind-the-scenes of traditional networking and cloud, lessons from leading technical teams in mission-critical environments, and what I'm currently studying — from CCNP to AWS Solutions Architect Professional and CKA — with new posts every week.

What I write about

Five interfaces, one operator. Each section of the blog covers a front of my day-to-day as an engineer and manager.
